He amused me with his jovial personality as Che Gong Chan in Mackerel Run; and fantasized over a wealthy heir Gu Jun Pyo in Boys Over Flowers; a much loved saccharine boyish look as Jeon Jin Ho in Personal Taste; hooked me up with his dynamic action skills in City Hunter Lee Yoon Sung; then he awed me with such sword fighting scenes, death defying bravery in Faith being the fated general Choi Young. ❤
Flashback to the 18th of evening of November 2012, as Lee Min Ho visited Manila, part of his lined up activities (since the 16th) for a global clothing brand endorsement.
As he ascend in front of the wildest-magnanimous crowd ever happened in that illustrious stage of Glorietta Activity Center, my heart skipped a beat and almost died of a heart attack. All the exaggeration is omnipresent and he’s worth it.
In that momentous event I activated all my senses from being oblivious to being ultrasonic. Almost the deafening squeals, I followed his every move, autographed every detail of his appearance in my memory bank. The way he carried himself apart from what he famed for character roles in films and movies.
His impeccable choice of words for the fans while showing off that bedimpled smile captivated among us. And the crowd left awe-strucked as he finally descend the stage for the next event for that night.
Was even surprised and at the same time thankful to his personal bodyguards for being so keen and kind-hearted in helping out Lee Min Ho dealing with the uproaring fans which lead us to feel very special when on e of his bodyguard noticeably re-directed Lee Min Ho to the west wing lobby where I stood. Finally we’re able to be given a chance to bid farewell as he walks off the stage, as we all scream in unison: “Saranghae, Lee Min Ho oppa!” as we waved him. That made us more ecstatic when he don’t fail us to return the courtesy. =)
I so love him! It is my monumental and enchanting evening in my memory to live by.
